What is The Expansion?
The Expansion is our capital campaign to build a multipurpose center on our church campus. The new facility will provide dedicated space for ministry events, community outreach, conferences, and celebrations without disrupting our sanctuary.
What is the projected construction timeline?
We plan to finalize drawings in Q3 2026, submit to the city in Q4 2026, break ground in Q3 2027, and complete the project by Q2 2028.
How much does the project cost?
The total estimated project cost is $4,000,000, funded through a combination of existing church funds, projected church savings, and our capital campaign fundraising goal of at least $1,800,000.
How can I give?
You can give online through our donation portal, as a one-time gift or a recurring monthly pledge. You can also give by check, made payable to RCCG Family Praise Chapel with "The Expansion" on the memo line.
How will donors be recognized?
Every contribution, regardless of size, helps make The Expansion possible and is deeply appreciated. Special recognition opportunities are available for donors who reach certain giving levels. Gifts of $10,000 or more will be recognized with an engraved Legacy Paver at the building entrance, and gifts of $20,000 or more will also receive a plaque on the Recognition Wall. Existing $5,000 paver donors will be grandfathered into the Legacy tier.
Can I set up a recurring pledge?
Yes. Our donation portal supports both one-time gifts and recurring monthly pledges. Choose an amount that works for your budget and adjust it at any time.
